Big Girl Bed

Elizabeth is finally sleeping in her big girl bed. You can't really tell by this picture, but she's in there. She spends some time playing before she goes to sleep, but finally crashes in her bed. Marty used to have to pick her up from off the ground to put her in bed...that's where she fell asleep. Now we can take the crib out and put it in Martin's room...YEAH!

Elizabeth helping out

Marty got up this morning with the kids and let me sleep. He found that Elizabeth can be very helpful and snapped a couple of pictures. She is helping by putting Martin's pacifier back into his mouth and brought him some of her glasses and helped by putting them on him. Look at how bright his blue eyes are! I thought it was very cute.

Easter

Here are a few pictures of our Easter. Elizabeth and Martin are wearing their outfits. Martin posed very well for the camera, while I had to get Elizabeth who was on the move.

Saturday was the community Easter Egg Hunt. We went to the park where they had thousands of egg for the kids to find. They were actually just laying in the grass. It was nice, because it was age appropriate. Elizabeth was more excited about the playground and took off in that direction. We went and got her when they announced that the hunt would begin. All the toddlers took off with their parents and gathered eggs. I had to show Elizabeth what to do, but she quickly got the hang of picking up the eggs. I was amazed at how the parents of the other kids were scrambling to get the eggs. Some were shoveling eggs into bags, while here I was showing Elizabeth what to do and letting her get her own. She got about 10. When we were done, we opened all the eggs to find the prizes that were inside. She got mainly taffy...who gives a toddler taffy??? but it was still a lot of fun and we are definitly going to do this again next year. Maybe Martin will be able to participate.

Carousal

Friday, we took a trip up to Salem to see my brother's new baby. While we were there, we had a little fun and took Elizabeth on her first carousal ride. At first she was a bit hesitant to get on the horse, but seemed to be okay with Marty there by her side. I took her for a second ride and she seemed more confident and wanted to hold my hand. We thought we were done, but she insisted to go on the ride again so Marty took her and she really enjoyed it. She didn't want Marty to hold on to her. I thought it was a lot of fun to see her so excited.

New Baby

My brother had a baby this past week and here is a picture of Caylin. Congratulations on a healthy baby girl.

Pics

I thought I'd post a few pictures of Martin. We had some computer trouble over the last couple of weeks, so it's taken some time to get the pictures loaded.
