We are looking forward to this weekend. We are headed to Arizona! I realized that it was Christmas since the last time we traveled, so we are looking forward to a vacation. It seems like Martin has been around for a long time and we are finally going to have his baby blessing. I have been anticipating this for some time now. Since he can now roll over, smiles, laughs, and he holds his head high. It seems like he isn't my little newborn anymore...and it doesn't help when he's 14 pounds either. (I don't know if that's an accurate weight, but it sure seems like it.)
Anyway, I am thrilled to see family and friends, and just have a good, relaxing time...after the blessing that is. I'm super excited to see my new neice...as I'm sure Marty is as well. I'm interested to see how dominate those Hiers genes are...you can definitely see it in my kids. Elizabeth will be excited to be able to play with some kids. She sees me all day, I'm sure she'll be excited to play with someone more her age. As you can see...I'm looking forward to a vacation. Maybe I just need to get out of the house more. :)

We are not feeling well today. ELizabeth woke up with snot and has been doing this all morning. I had to change her out of her pj's, because she got herself soaked from her juice. She looks like a zombie...poor girl. Thankfully we have Mickey to make us feel better.
Martin isn't sick...yet. I am trying to keep the sick one away from the healthy one. Hopefully it works. He's just snoozing...I love these pictures of kids when they sleep and their bums are in the air.

All the fun we have
Martin is getting to be one big baby. He just keeps growing and growing. It's nice now that he can hold up his head, although I think even his head is big for him. He sometimes loses control over it and it goes flopping around. It's also nice to see his sweet smile that he gives when I pick him up or even just look at him. It makes all his crying and sleepless nights worthwhile. We really don't have too many of those though...he is such a good baby.
Elizabeth is just as fun too. Here she is looking at herself in the mirror and making goofy faces at herself. YES, YES she has a tank-top on, but in my defense she took her little sweater off that goes with that outfit.
And look at her in this picture...we went outside to play and I turn around for one second and she is standing in the pool with her clothes on. She told me, "pool, pool." I should have guessed that she had one thing on her mind when I took her outside.
