WE went into the hospital Thursday night so I could be induced. I went the entire night without having any contractions until about 6:30 Friday morning. The epidural came about 11:30 and we had to start the pitocin at 2:30 because my contractions had stopped. By 4:30 I was ready to have the baby and at 5:03 baby Martin was born. He was 8 lbs. 2 oz., 19.5 inches long. His head was 13.25 inches. There weren't an complications and everything went smoothly.

Congratulations! I'm glad it went well for you.
I can't believe how much he looks like Elizabeth. He is so handsome. I can see how excited Elizabeth is to be sitting next to him :-) Give her a few weeks. It'll just be another adjustment for her, just like the pacifier.

Congratulations! We're glad to hear that everyone is happy and healthy. And don't worry...Elizabeth will eventually decide that Martin's not so bad after all.
